About Us

WED Renewables finances and builds, owns and operates green field solar parks, commercial roof-top solar schemes. We export and sell the energy produced on green field sites into the national grid. Wind Energy Direct – a parent company of WED Renewables – was founded in 2006, is 100% Irish owned and are experienced market leaders in the installation of wind turbines on the sites of large energy users. We are leveraging that experience to bring solar PV to green field and industrial/commercial sites.
